Glorious 20s opulence will come to the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa this 31 December, as the Villa Corinthia transforms into the Great Gastby mansion for an unforgettable dinner-dance extravaganza.
With J Gatsby (played by actor Alan Montanaro) as the host for the evening, guests will enjoy an experience based on the style of this year’s hit blockbuster The Great Gatsby. The event will start with a welcome reception of Gatsby-themed canapés and cocktails, followed by an indulgent six-course meal with free-flowing wine and other drinks from the well-stocked bar.
After dinner, the party will kick up a notch for a night of revelry with dancers from the fabulous Alison White company, live entertainment from swing band Dapper Franco and the Big Shots, and magical surprises every step of the way. Guests will then countdown to midnight and start 2014 in a manner that J Gatsby would be proud of!
On the night, attendees are invited to come in costume with a 20s twist, and even to take on a notorious character from the era. There will also be the chance to win stays at other fabulous Corinthia hotels, in Prague, St Petersburg, Lisbon and London.
Private rooms will be available for small groups who want a more intimate setting throughout the party. Meanwhile, a special rate of €85 per bedroom (including a champagne breakfast on New Year’s Day morning) has been set for this very special occasion, making it easy for guests to stay over and extend their celebrations.
