MADC present a major new and exciting production of English dramatist J.B. Priestley’s classic thriller An Inspector Calls. First performed in 1945 in the Soviet Union and in 1946 in the UK, it is one of Priestley’s best known works for the stage and is considered to be one of the classics of mid-20th century English theatre. Long considered part of the repertory of classic “drawing room” theatre, the play has also been hailed as a scathing critique of the hypocrisies of Victorian/Edwardian English society and as an expression of Priestley’s socialist political principles.

The play takes place on a single night in Spring 1912. It focuses on the prosperous upper middle-class Birling family, who live in a comfortable home in the fictional town of Brumley. The family is visited by Inspector Goole…….

This thrilling production directed by Michael Mangion, and with costumes by Maria Muscat, features a stellar cast with Edward Thorpe, Isabel Warrington, Roberta Cefai, Edward Caruana Galizia, Gianni Selvaggi, John Marinelli and Samantha Gauci.

Performances run 15/16/17 and 22/23/24 March at 7:30pm at Bluebox – M Space, Msida. BOOKING NOW OPEN – Tickets at only Euro15 and Euro20 at or Ticket Hotline 7979 3737 or email [email protected]
