How did you get started?
Government evening classes when I was 15 

What genre do you consider your work to be?
Ceramic Art and Functional Art

Describe your work in less than 10 words.
Modern, Decorative, Functional, Tactile. Wall pieces, Functional ware for everyday use.

Where was your first exhibition held?
Society of Arts Collective Naxxar

How long have you been practising your art?
I did paint at a younger age – Ceramics for 20 years plus 3 years when I was 15

Which is your favourite from among your own artworks?
Rockpool series

Whose artist’s work are you most inspired by?
Locally – George Muscat. Others – Jane Jermyn and more

If you weren’t an artist, what would you be?
An innovator

What is the epitome of happiness for you?
Expressing an idea in clay and being in the sea.

What are you working on at the moment?
Decorative plates.

Are you a morning person or do you come alive at night?
Morning, definitely.

How many coffees a day? Don’t embellish.
1 – 2.

Sundays can be very productive for some and very unproductive for others. How do you spend yours?
Studio; catching up with other work

Wine and cheese. Yes or no?
Yes.

If you were given a million euros, what would you indulge yourself with?
A dwelling somewhere right on the sea.

Favourite place to holiday?
Anywhere near the sea for swimming
