I’m quite loyal to my mascara brands but I
wanted to try the Too faced better than sex mascara for a while so bought it just after Christmas and have been giving it a good testing.
The wand
The wand is full at the top and bottom and dips in the centre (inspired by the curves of an hourglass figure) which helps pick up all your lashes at once and grab them at the root giving a fanned out and lifted effect all at once!
The coverage
It’s carbon black and intense. One coat is plenty and is enough for top and bottom lashes. Two coats if you love a lot of drama and three of you want a super false lashes effect!
Length and volume
This mascara is generous with both! I haven’t used a mascara that gave me a false lash effect like it in ages. It’s amazing!
Longevity
I found it to last all day but flaked slightly on the bottom lash.
There is a waterproof version, though.
Would I recommend?
Yes, definitely, especially if you like a long full lash… if you’re lashes are already quite long, you may not need it but it would just compliment them in my opinion.
Will it go in to my professional kit?
Most likely… I need to try out the waterproof version first.
