Last week was the opening of the new Hastens store, who have a celebrity customer-base, in Msida.
The brand invited guests to test its bedding, sheets and pillows made with natural materials, for a well-deserved break after enjoying the appetizers at the opening event. The simple design was filled by 50 privileged people who had the opportunity to see live the manufacture of a Hastens mattress while listening to the musicians.
Let’s get down to business : why can’t Drake, Beyoncé or Brad Pitt sleep anywhere else but on this bedding? Having tested the beds (…several times), they are indeed up to their reputation. More than 100 hours of manufacturing for one of the brand’s beds and 300 hours for the most expensive bed in the world : the Vividus of Hastens.
The Swedish brand had decided during their opening evening, as for their products, to highlight expertise rather than aesthetics. You could admire simple, refined beds with mattresses that succeed in the challenge of being both soft and firm.
We’d dream of it, wouldn’t we? It’s possible to buy a Hastens bed – but maybe not be able to share it with Brad Pitt – the prices starts from 2000 euros and can go up to 120 000 euros. Why pay so much for a bed? Hastens’ sales argument is simple : “If you get up in the morning and are tired, you haven’t slept well. With Hastens, that kind of thing doesn’t happen. »
