C-Tango Eye Cream Review

I read a lot about skin care ingredients and there has been conflicting information about wether eye creams are necessary or really make a difference when you could just use the one cream all over the face. I turned 33 this month and just as I was taught, the first signs of aging really do appear around the eyes. We are so expressive with our eyes and the skin is delicate and thinner in that area so I do think there is a lot to be said for a specially formulated cream for specific needs.

Personally, I’ve noticed fine lines when I smile, as well as a more sunken under eye that makes me look quite tired.

So after reading rave reviews. I decided to try the C-Tango from Drunk Elephant in the aim to start a consistent eye care regime.

I’m going to break it down

Ingredients/claims – “ this rich, restorative eye cream features a brightening combination of eight peptides, five forms of vitamin C and cucumber extract for firmer, stronger-looking skin around the eyes” Cult beauty

Packaging – beautiful and practical as the product is protected from light which can damage the efficacy of vitamin C

Application – one pump is enough for both eyes. Apply by patting lightly with ring finger.

Consistency – light and airy, absorbs beautifully and feels refreshing (can be stored in the fridge for a cooling effect)

Immediate effect – my eyes look hydrated and more awake

1 month effect – the skin around my eyes is firmer and fine lines slightly less apparent.

Price – €62 on Cult beauty with free reliable shipping

Now, am I the best person to review this cream? Yes, anyone is, because everyone has different issues and this is why I believe it’s a great all rounder. I found the more mature the client the more amazing the review and the younger the client, the less willing to re-purchase at the stage in their skin care game if that is of help to anyone. Saying that though, why not start early! From 25 up is when it’s recommended to up your skin care routine.

The reason for more solid reviews the more mature the user, in my opinion, is that it is so potent that you will really see a difference if you have issues around your eyes. In my case I don’t  really have deep set wrinkles or dark circles, yet. However, I still see a difference and I will continue to use because I think it will lessen future issues and keep the skin nice and firm and bright.

So Do I highly recommend?

Yes I do!

It’s a beautiful eye cream and has proven to be effective for me! Win!
