Do you Bartitsu?

A seminar offering instruction in Bartitsu, arguably the first mixed martial art system, combining styles from the East and the West.  Practiced for self defence purposes in the 19th century, everyday objects such as walking sticks and hats were used, and Bartitsu even got a mention in a Sherlock Holmes story.

Instruction is given by Prof. Mark P. Donnelly. Organized by The Malta Historical Fencing Association and The Bujinkan Malta Dojo. At the Malta Maritime Museum 21st and 22nd September, 2013 from 09.00 – – 16.30hrs.

Price: €40 for both days; €25 for Saturday only.  Limited Places.
