Luigi Tessarollo & Marc galea will be performing at the St James Cavalier music room Valletta on Saturday 14th September.
The duo will play arrangements for two guitars from the Jazz standards repertoire together with original compositions.
Luigi Tessarollo is a prominent figure in the Italian jazz scene,a guitarist and composer from Turin, has performed in U.S.A. (New York and Boston), in Europe (Festival International de Liege, Gouvy Festival, Comblain La Tour – Belgium, Grenoble Jazz Festival, Switzerland National Radio, Italian RAI, Ajaccio Jazz…) and in the most important Italian Jazz Festivals (Umbria Jazz, JVC Festival, Jazz & Image in Rome, Festival Internazionale di Cagliari, Verona Jazz Festival, Euro Jazz Festival d’Ivrea, Jazz In’It in Vignola, Clusone Jazz, Bordighera Jazz & Blues…).
Marc Galea is a session guitarist and professional guitar tutor. He recorded two albums under his name and in 2011 he launched his method guitar book ‘Step by step approach for the modern guitar player. . In 2008 and 2009 was awarded the internationally-acclaimed RGT Guitar Tutor of the Year finalist Award.
Marc Has worked with several top guitarist in the music business such as, John Wheatcroft, Phil Hilborne , Neil Murray, Gordon Giltrap and John Mizarolli.
This is will be the fifth time that Luigi and Marc are playing together after previous sold out concerts at University on Campus, MITP and St James Cavalier Music Room.
This will be an intimate and unique performance for all the Jazz lovers.
