Foundation Review!
Wet and Wild is a brand that I’ve been really liking lately. They have a great full range from base to colour at affordable prices. Their new dewy photo focus foundation has really impressed me and for €7 it really is a gem of a find!
I’ve been trying the dewy finish foundation and here are my thoughts:
Texture
The texture is light and airy but not greasy in any way (which I normally expect from a dewy foundation) lovely to the touch.
Application
Easy to apply in less than a minute with very little blending required, so smooth.
Coverage
I would say this is medium coverage that is buildable and found less is more with this formula. It’s covered everything I needed it to and didn’t look heavy or cakey.
Finish
The finish is definitely satin and even though it’s a dewy foundation, there is no shine or oily complexion. My skin is even and soft looking.
Longevity
I have put it to the ultimate test! 2 days in a row in 30 degree scorching weather and I am not kidding when I say it lasted all day! This is a huge plus for anyone who struggles with foundation wear in the Maltese climate. It also photographs beautifully!
Over all this foundation gets top marks from me and I will be using it as my everyday foundation.
Wet and Wild can be found in most pharmacies and supermarkets throughout the island and I highly recommend trying out the line. I’ve also tried their brow kits and highlighter and really loved them.
