Go crazy for green bananas

If you are a carb lover looking to lose weight, tuck in to an ‘unripe’ banana to feel fuller for longer because of their resistant starch. This characteristic enables the levelling of blood-sugar levels too and makes you feel more energised and wait for it, actually helps you burn more calories!

Slice one up and add to your cereal or mash on your toast in the morning or make a smoothie with iced milk, peanut butter and oats, or my favourite supper dish, a green banana curry.
