The General Soft Drinks (GSD) Co. Ltd, local bottlers of Coca-Cola, donated the sum of €11,000 to the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF) through an initiative that took place during the annual Joseph Calleja concert.
Specifically a number of company clients made a donation towards the charity fund in order to acquire a golden circle ticket for the concert.
The participating clients were first treated to a welcome reception before the concert and a lavish after party in an exclusive area.
President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca joined the event and was presented with the generous donation by Mizzi Organisation President Chev. Maurice Mizzi and GSD Chief Operating Officer Maria Micallef.
“The Joseph Calleja concert has developed into an annual appointment for Maltese society to listen to the world class tenor and spend a memorable evening. As part of GSD’s corporate social responsibility, we wanted not only to participate in this event but also tangibly help people in challenging situations,” said Chev. Mizzi.
