Life is my inspiration. Feelings are my motivation my thoughts and my body are my tools – My art is ME

How did you get started?
I used to teach in Austria in a special secondary school which offered art related subjects and I used to teach – jewellery making with recycled material, present ideas, restoration of the 1900 school building. This was the start of my art career.
Whose artist’s work are you most inspired by?
The artist who created nature and life.
Describe your work in less than 10 words.
My art is me: it is the visualisation of my life and thoughts.
What genre do you consider your work to be?
Modern and figurative art.
Your favourite from among your own artworks?
It is a live size sculpture called ‘fear’ which is part of the visualisation of my book ‘Broken Life’.
Where was your first exhibition held?
Italy.

What are you working on at the moment?
I am working on some sculpture reflecting family life.
How long have you been doing art?
Since approx 1999.
Are you a morning person or do you come alive at night?
I am a morning person as I get creative when I wake up early in the morning.
How many coffees a day? Don’t embellish.
Betweeen 3 and 5.
Sundays can be very productive for some and very unproductive for others. How do you spend yours?
Most of the time I spend my Sundays with my husband and son and we do something active together.
Wine and cheese. Yes or no?
Yes, but I am not crazy about it.
If you were given a million euros, what would you indulge yourself with?
I would buy an old property to restore and turn it into a studio and workshop for my husband and I.
Favourite place to holiday?
I love to discover, therefore I have no particularly place for holiday.
