Most beautiful beaches in the world, most incredible places to take pictures … I (@surferchild) went to the Seychelles Island for 12 days with my best friend who is also an influencer on Instagram (@lauxde)
For your information, there are 3 main Islands in the Seychelles …
Mahé :
Most built up island and this is where the main airport is located. It’s also the largest island of the Seychelles, Mahé is the most popular Seychelles destination with a great variety of big hotels and luxury resorts. The island is 6 km (4 miles) wide and 26 km (16 miles) long.
Mahé is home to more beaches than you can possibly visit during your trip. We didn’t choose to stay on this island because it seemed too big for us, we wanted to be more in the wilderness
Praslin : 38 square kilometers and with only 7500 residents. Its interior is all jungle (some of the most spectacular we’ve ever seen) and its beaches range from beautiful to unbelievably mind-blowingly beautiful. There’s also a good amount of places to eat, lots of shops to buy supplies and it’s an easy island to rent a car to buzz around.
La Digue : There’s only 1800 people living on it and apart from a handful of cars, everyone gets around on bicycle. You can bike across the island in less than 20 minutes. It’s also gorgeous in every way imaginable. The beaches were some of the most dazzling and exquisite beaches of the world. The atmosphere was also supremely laid-back, people are so nice and welcoming, and everywhere you looked was another breathtaking view, whether it be of white sand, turquoise water, thick jungle or other islands in the landscape.
As we are both influencers, we managed a collaboration with the flight company JOON, a new company by Air France and we stayed in a beautiful hotel, still in collaboration, called Chalets Cote Mer at Baie Sainte Anne, Praslin
The life there isn’t expensive. You can find hotels and clubs at different prices, from 50 euros to 2000 euros per night, depending on your budget.
Praslin has some of the most beautiful beaches of the world, Anse Lazio, Cote d’Or, and Anse Georgette, a tropical rainforest where you can find a particular type of coconuts … coco de mer ! The jungle is protected by UNESCO and it’s called Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve. Praslin also offers you a lot of boat trip excursions where you can go on little islands, private beaches, sailing, snorking, eating fish on the beach, feeding and caressing big turtles … it is a great way to see the Seychelles !
We went to La Digue Island only for a day to visit the most beautiful beaches, Anse Source D’argent, Anse Coco, and the famous Union Estate Farm where you can buy vanilla and coconut oil, it’s also a really good spot to take awesome pictures with a drone… and also to surf ! Indeed, there is no way I do not surf on vacations and I really wanted to taste the waves of the Indian Ocean. La Digue is such a cool island for chilling, everyone is biking, no cars or buses. Everything is beautiful, every beach has got its own story.
