Open to its students, their parents, and a number of employers, the week-long GCHSS career fair provided HBEU with the opportunity to meet with students and guide them professionally with the career options available at the Contact Centre, located in Swatar.
HBEU officials also presented a seminar to a group of GCHSS students, who learned ways to propel their ambition into a substantial career in the global banking industry.

Apart from having a good command of English and IT skills, there are no other specific qualifications for the role, as HSBC Contact Centre provides a full induction training programme in handling telephone banking over a three-month period for all successful candidates, during which time all participants will receive full pay.
