In line with its commitment to promote sports and physical activity among the young Maltese generations, Kellogg’s, the world’s leading producer of breakfast cereals, sponsored the certificate presentation at the Malta Football Association (MFA) indoor pool.Held at the Millennium Stand Complex in Ta’ Qali, 200 young swimmers received their course completion certificates together with their assessment sheet from their instructors in the presence of their proud parents and friends, and Kellogg’s mascot Coco the Monkey.
The swimming courses cover various skills including breath control and holding, body coordination, in-line kick and back kick. The children are assigned into one of the six groups available according to their swimming abilities and ages. “Our aim is to promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle and being physically active amongst these children. These swimming courses provide the first step in the right direction. The participants have shown good progress throughout the course and we augur that they continue their training on a regular basis,” said Mr Catalin Stan, MFA Swimming Pool Manager.

Kellogg’s representatives presented the newly awarded young swimmers with cereal portion packs as a gift from Kellogg’s.
