Lewis Zammit was born in 1971 and lives in Mellieha
How did you get started?
I commenced Visual Art studies in 1986 under the supervision of Alfred Chircop. In 1998, I completed with distinction a Diploma course in Fine Arts at the Malta School of Art. In 1998 I also completed a Bachelor’s Honours degree in History of Art, followed by a Master’s degree in History of Art at the University of Malta in 2003
What genre do you consider your work to be?
Mostly Lyrical abstract painting.
Describe your work in less than 10 words.
My paintings are the manifestation of my soul.

Museum of Fine Arts, Valletta 2002

Family and Art.
What are you working on at the moment?
Visual Art educator.
Are you a morning person or do you come alive at night?
Generally a morning person but I can also work at night.
How many coffees a day? Don’t embellish.
I’m actually more of a tea person.
Sundays can be very productive for some and very unproductive for others. How do you spend yours?
Sunday is usually with family.

If you were given a million euros, what would you indulge yourself with?
Experiencing different countries, different cultures.
Favourite place to holiday?
Any place of culture.
