L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil

Recently L’Occitane En Provence opened a stunning store on Republic Street in Valletta.
Being a fan of the brand for years, I was delighted to hear of the opening.
I am a big fan of the fragrance and candles with my no.1 product love being the Almond shower oil.

When I first started using shower oils, I was a bit sceptical of how effective they would be, I had the notion that shower products needed to foam up in order to get that squeaky clean feeling. I was very wrong, in fact, a lot of shower gels can actually strip your skin of their precious natural oils. Now I prefer an oil to a regular body wash.

The Almond shower oil from L’Occitane is pure luxury. The scent is not subtle which is great if you love almonds.
On wet skin, all you need to do is massage the oil in, building up a silky lather all over the body. I personally like to leave it sit for a couple of minutes and enjoy the aroma that is created when the steam of the shower spreads it around the bathroom, it helps it linger for a good while.
When rinsing, it turns in to a milky consistency and washes away easily. It doesn’t feel heavy or like it’s going to leave a build up on your skin.
When you get out of the shower, pat your skin dry and feel how soft and fresh your skin feels!
Sometimes I even skip my body moisturiser because I don’t feel the need after using the oil.
The best thing for me is that the scent stays on my skin all day and I absolutely love it! Amazing this time of year, trust me.
