L’Oréal Gel Liner

The gel liner i normally use changed
Formula a Couple of years back and for some reason, I didn’t want to believe that it wasn’t doing its usual fantastic job anymore, so I kept re-purchasing only to use it a few times and have to bin it because it was extremely dry and not working on my clients.

A winged liner is something that has never gone out of fashion and I cannot do a wing proper justice on a client if it’s not a gel formula – for me it’s just easier, more precise and most hygienic, given that I scoop it out of its pot.
When I was re-stocking some bits for my kit last week I noticed the L’Oréal gel liner in a pharmacy and decided to try it out.

WOW!

This little pot of black creaminess is absolutely brilliant. Glides on like butter, opaque pigment, has some play time and lasts for ages!
It’s under €15 too which is a great price for a gel liner. You even get a little brush with it… I am used to my liner brushes but I tried the one the came with and it does a good job. It’s also great for summer when we are extra clammy!

Pro tip – leave your eye shut for a few seconds to make sure the product has dried and doesn’t imprint on your crease and always close the lid of the product right after use.
