Matthew Attard was born in 1987 and hails from Rabat, Malta.
How did you get started?
I guess this was a mix of doing stuff on one’s own initiative and formalising Art Education.
What genre do you consider your work to be?
I tend to avoid a particular genre. I hope to develop the work itself depending on the research necessities not its genre.
Describe your work in less than 10 words.
I can’t, that’s why it’s a visual process.

In Venice
How long have you been practising your art?
Sometimes it feels like it’s been for ever, sometimes it feels like I just started.
Which is your favourite from among your own artworks?
I hope I have no favourites.
Whose artist’s work are you most inspired by?
…don’t have a favourite artist either.
If you weren’t an artist, what would you be?
I hope that I’m still not an artist…

Working on further developing

Definitely not a morning person

Anything with a beach and sunshine
