I may be late to the party but I visited the Japanese inspired store Mimuso, in Sliema to have a browse. Sure enough my eyes were drawn to the beauty section. I am very skeptical about skincare that is curiously inexpensive but some of their stuff was way to cute not to buy, plus for the price, I couldn’t not pick up a couple of things.
I was tempted to buy everything but decided to start out with 2 products, an overnight face mask and and eye mask.
Snail gel eye masks
I know, my first reaction was probably the same as yours, however I have heard a lot about products containing snail mucin or slime and it has been used forever apparently. Hydration, promoting collagen production and having healing properties are just a few benefits listed.
The products I got were in eye mask form and come in a pack for only 3euro for six pairs. I couldn’t pass them upon because the selling point is very good… but did they do anything?
Straight away I felt them cooling and refreshing on my eyes and after I left them on for 20 minutes my eyes looked noticeably brighter and smoother… I do feel like it’s more of a temporary affects but hey for €3 these are great to have in your beauty collection, especially to have before a night out or special occasion.
Green tea hydrating mini overnight mask
This was such a cute little mask! I love over night masks and this one didn’t disappoint. Refreshing to apply, absorbers beautifully and I woke up with refreshed and hydrated skin.
I’m going to purchase more of their range as I think they are great additions to my beauty regime or when I want a little pamper.
These products would also be ideal for a teenagers spa party or adding to goody bags!
