Monique started indulge in 2011 and has since created Indulge Me GIFT and Indulge Me FOOD and volume 1 of The Artists Directory - Malta. A marketing professional by trade, Monique's passion is to promote local talent and Malta in general. Free time is her biggest indulgence, when she can tinker in her craft room or the kitchen, or be selfish with a book, the sofa and good glass of wine (of course, wearing something beautiful and with freshly coiffed hair!)
Nicole Parnis
Nicole is a culture writer and lifestyle journalist with a passion for fashion, food, music and anything retro. She indulges by thrifting her Sundays away at flea markets, followed by a cappuccino or two in a pretty village square.
Maria Muscat
Maria makes and cooks and writes about people who make and cook and write. She has worked in and around the book industry for years now; a colourful literary life supplemented by a double life as a seamstress and crafter for the theatre of life and stage. Growing up in her father’s ceramics workshop and her mum’s kitchen, she made it a mission in life to amass as many skills as she could to keep her hands active and her mind buzzing. Maria indulges in things that pique the senses, alluring scents and drinks and tastes. Nothing beats runny yolk and caviar and butter on freshly toasted Maltese bread paired with a tart Vodka Martini. Just saying!
Shannon Briffa
Shannon is a Canadian-Maltese ghostwriter with a jack-of-all-trades past in marine, education, and manufacturing. She loves handmade, well-styled things, dabbles in sewing for fun, and runs the occasional workshop. Her favourite indulgences are 7am swims on empty beaches or watching movies at the cinema (ideally also empty!).
Thomas Camilleri
Thomas has always wanted to breathe life into old objects and spaces. Maybe it was the regular watching of Changing Rooms as a child or the fact that he grew up in the most suburban of homes, but he has always craved village life and homes with oodles of character. After ten years in London as an actor, he moved back home in 2014 and instantly fell in love with a mid-century apartment in the heart of Gżira which he christened #torritumas and set about renovating. It was the start of something special and after a similar labour of love in Ħamrun with #TaHamrunu. He's the owner and curator of @HollywoodValletta, a store selling 'beautiful objects'. Mr Right
Mr Right bases himself on Carson from the wonderful Downton Abbey. He gains pleasure from educating mere mortals with etiquette tips. His favourite pastimes include making quince jam and flower arranging.
Benjamin Milton
Benjamin is a writer and performer. He flits between Soho and Gozo and is usually to be found either sipping an espresso in Bar Italia or eating Twistees at Hondoq. His biggest indulgence is his fine collection of Mark Powell scarves, which is growing at an alarming rate.
