Sounds grand but this is proper nanna comfort food.
Fry a chopped onion and garlic in some olive oil and add 600g of mixed chopped veg (can be fresh or frozen) stirring occasional for about 10 minutes. Add a can of cannellini, borlotti, haricot beans or chickpeas) and add a pint of stock and once boiling, throw in 80g of small pasta (break up spaghetti if you only have that).
You can add a tin of tomatoes to richen it a bit or save them for another day. Grated Parmesan smothered on top, make this dish.
