A blues-rock band that delves into a variety of influences from the 1970s and 1990s, taking audiences on a musical journey of original songs and all-time favourites from these eras. What type or genre are they playing? Is there some concert planned? Answers for these questions and much more you will learn in this article.
The band is placed here in Malta, but the members are from all over the world. Helias from Greece –the guitarist and main composer, Paulo from Brazil – the drummer, Marcel from Costa Rica – the singer and Camilo from Columbia – the bass guitarist. As you can tell, it is mostly a Latino gang. It all started as a personal project of Helias, and they are all together just for three months.
I had
the opportunity to interview Helias and Paulo, so I found out few interesting facts. For example, the band has six original songs, but their favourites are In The Rain, Mediterranean Voyager (already available on Spotify) and Magician’s Puff. They also do not devote themselves to just one genre, but play mix of rock, blues, instrumental and soon orchestic music. They enjoyed and pass, on music as it is, raw, unperfect, special and little different each time. They make it all by themselves and it gives a strong feeling like you are listening to a garage band from 1960s.
I bet that after reading this article, you have exactly one question on your mind: Will there be a concert in the near future? Don’t worry, I have good news for you. The concert is coming up and it will take place at the Storeroom on October 20 at 8 p.m. You can click on the link for the event on Facebook.
If you want to be part of the first era of Perseus Dream, find their website, follow them on Instagram and Facebook, play their music on Spotify or YouTube and in the best case come to the planned concert. See you there.
