I’m convinced that no matter how much space you have, most of us will still complain of the lack of, especially when it comes to storage!
We live in a small apartment and I must admit, I do love scrolling through Pinterest, dreaming of the storage we will have one day.
Pinning my heart away with all the gorgeous playrooms on show and the Amazing storage systems some people have going on, hats off!
At the moment I need to make do with the space we have and we have an open plan kitchen/living which I suppose is a playroom now too!
The best thing we ever got, was my son’s toy box! It’s actually a basic white storage box from Ikea and we bought some really cute wooden letters online to stick on to personalise it (copied the idea from my friend Tara)
I was looking at loads of gorgeous personalised ones online but this looks great for something that was relatively DIY.
I was also able to put a little free-standing bookshelf on top and along with his kitchen, this makes up Conor’s play area and storage! Of course, I would love more space but at the same time, it keeps me from overloading and over buying too and I tend to switch out the toys more often this way.
Don’t get me wrong, the place is always a mess most of the time but it’s so handy to throw everything in and just forget about it at the end of the day.
