Between May and August this year, Richard Herring, Comedy Store Players, David O’Doherty and Jimmy Carr will perform in the 1200-seat venue.

On Sunday 26 May, Richard Herring will perform his one man show Total Cock. This tenth anniversary update of the critically acclaimed show that exposes the truth about men and their ‘flutes of love’ was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2002 and Melbourne Comedy Festival 2003. It has been translated and performed in over a dozen European countries and published as a book by Ebury press.

Returning for a night of improvisation on Sunday 9 June, the Comedy Store Players are now officially recognized by the Guinness World Records as the longest-lasting comedy show in the world with the same core cast. Performing on the night will be Niall Ashdown, Marcus Brigstocke, Neil Mullarkey, Lee Simpson, Andy Smart and Richard Vranch.

Hitting the proverbial road with a bag containing a tiny keyboard, six C batteries (spare) and a book of actual sex tips he found in a dentist’s waiting room, winner of the 2008 Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly The Perrier Award), David O’Doherty will perform Seize the David O’Doherty at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre on Sunday 14 July.

On Sunday 18 August, Jimmy Carr – Gagging Order will complete the Comedy events in the open air with this new show which promises brand new jokes, same old Jimmy. The show will be packed with one-liners, stories and jokes; some clever, some rude and a few totally unacceptable. Everybody’s welcome. Just leave your conscience, sense of common decency and moral compass at home and come on out for a laugh.
