St James Cavalier is proud to announce that it has formed a partnership with The WOMAD Foundation to present a series of workshops, master classes and performances in schools, colleges and at our centre.
In partnership with St James Cavalier, WOMAD has devised a vibrant and diverse programme of activities for children and young people working with visiting musicians and visual artists including:
Brassroots (USA/UK), Siyaya (Zimbabwe), Ipercussionici (Sicily), Malarky (UK) , Ripton Lindsay (Jamaica), Dave Watts (UK/Tenerife) Shona Watt (UK)
At the end of a week-long residency artists and students will animate the streets of Valetta with music, dance and visuals on 5th May, followed by showcases from students and artists sharing their experiences of working together.
