St James’ Cavalier was home to viewers of La Voce Del Corpo last night – a short film about Sicilan body language. The film, which had English subtitles, didn’t need much explaining. The gestures really do speak for themselves. Guests from the Malta Deaf Association were in the audience and they felt as of no explanation was needed. The film is humerous whilst getting across a message of culture and tradition. Wishing the sea wasn’t so rough this weekend as a trip to Sicily to test my new-found knowledge is most definitely required. The film raised funds for Rotary Club La Vallette’s projects.
