Rotary ‘Hands On’ Day gets help from EDEN

On Saturday the 23rd of April, staff of the Eden Leisure Group visited The Living Independent Apartments in Paola to lend a hand in transforming a house into a home with Rotary Club Malta’s Hand’s On Day.

Run by Fondazzjoni Wens, the apartments help to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities through innovative personalised support, expertise, and advocacy. Just like Dar il-Wens’ Residential Home, The Living Independent Apartments secure that persons with disabilities can execute their right to fully participate in community life.

The apartment was the 7th of its kind built or restored by Fondazzjoni Wens. Along with the help of The Rotary Club Malta, Eden’s team accomplished the painting of 6 rooms, stairwell, balustrades and the removal of nearly 2 tons of soil.
