Shy Words that Glitter

Without any questions or fathoms of the soul,

There are no questions to be asked,

Or answers to be given;

There is no truth to seek

Or troubles to let go

Or sins to be forgiven.

Without a thousand ghosts to hide and wallow in contempt

No hand to show you what is right

Or voice to tell you to repent

There are just people to be seen

And judgements to be put aside

There’s just a love that lives serene

Forgiveness granted for the times they lied

They did not mean, they didn’t trust

It was the ego, fears of the past

For all are people, painted as one

Calling on time to come undone

And they are people of arduous white,

Shutting their eyes, blind to their light

Thus, there are no questions to be asked,

Or answers to be given;

There is no truth to seek

Or troubles to let go

Or sins to be forgiven.
