Lejla F’Santa Venera – Saturday 11th June
Santa Venera is hosting a knees-up, an everyone’s invited! There’ll be market stalls, traditional food, and of course, music playing into the night. This edition sees Kurt Calleja headlining the festivities alongside Sarah Bonnici, Jasmine Abela and Owen Luellen, with Mike Spiteri and DJ Zrinz to follow.
Dolls For Idols, Beesqueeze – Friday 17th July
Kicking off Sliema Arts Festival’s first of three nights of fun are two of our fave alternative bands who will be performing on the Rock The Beach Main Stage, right on the shore! Get ready for some rave ‘n’ rolling, head-banging and possible crowd surfing. The bar will be stocked with all your favourites, including Malta’s own hipster-approved ciders and sodas: Tuff.
Katy Perry – Wednesday 22nd July
Expect fireworks in your stomach as stratospheric star Katy Perry ignites the night at Isle of MTV with chart-topping hits such as “California Girls” and “I Kissed A Girl”’ on Floriana’s Fosos. We can’t wait to see what Ms Perry wears… Not to mention Malta’s sensational “Bella” singer Aidan as the night’s supporting act- WOW!
Platinum ABBA Tribute – Saturday 25th July
Mamma Mia! Platinum are quite possibly the world’s best ABBA Tribute act, and have traveled the globe with their live, on-point routine. They’re sure to get the crowd dancing under the stars after songbird Jolene Samhan, for a memorable night in sunset-tastic Xwejni, Gozo. DJ Nate and Ziggy will keep the afterparty pumping.
Owen Luellen & Miriana Conte – Tuesday 28th July
The Farsons Beer Festival or “Beerfest” is an absolute staple of every Maltese summer. This year, Owen Luellen, one of Malta’s best-loved rappers will team up with Eurovision diva and “Napoletana” singer Miriana Conte at Ta’ Qali Grounds for what we can only imagine will be a crossover show to remember!
