The Body Shop – Vitamin C daily glow cleansing polish

My go to cleanser

Cleansers are something I find can make or break a skin care routine. If you are using the wrong cleanser for your skin type, it may affect how your moisturiser or serum works, that is why the cleansing steps are just as important as everything else, but what about in this sweltering summer though? You couldn’t be bothered in a 2-3 step cleanse, you just want something quick and easy that does the job, right? Well I know I do, but at the same time, I want something thats suitable for my skin at anytime, removes build up of sun creams and makeup and also lightly exfoliates…. am I asking too much from one product? I don’t think so. In fact, it was the re-purchase of a product the other day that made me think about it. For the past couple of years, I have been going back to The Body Shops Vitamin C daily glow cleansing polish, the latest tube i bought is probably my 5th, which for me, definitely says I like it because I am always trying out new things.
Whilst, ingredients wise, it’s not the most potent or stable when it comes to the vitamin C content, it definitely brightens and really cleans my skin well. My skin doesn’t feel dry after and it has this amazing freshness which is very welcome on my skin in this weather or any weather for that matter.

I was particularly impressed these past few days because it has made a significant difference in helping slough off annoying little bumps and dry patches that have been visiting my skin lately, which in turn leads to a much smoother makeup application
It smells lightly citrus and has small micro beads.

It retails at around €13.50 which is a bargain as you get 125ml and only a small amount is needed so there is good longevity with this product.

This product could definitely be a holy grail for me and I highly recommend to anyone from oily to dry.
