The Iniala Group announces the opening of the luxury hotel Iniala Harbour House & Residences, together with the hotel’s fine dining rooftop restaurant, ION – The Harbour.
Overlooking the spectacular Grand Harbour, the hotel is a first of its kind in Malta, offering a total of 23 individually designed rooms and suites, including two extraordinary two-bedroom residences.
Spread over four exquisite townhouses and their ancient vaults, the hotel marries history with innovation to offer an eclectic mix of unique design concepts created by three world-class studios: A-Cero from Spain, Autoban from Turkey and Malta’s DAAA HAUS. From painted cupolas to grand staircases, the historical details have been beautifully preserved, with each townhouse offering a unique identity.
Friday November 6th will see the opening of 9 rooms and suites within the hotel, as well as three Grand Residences – two spectacular two-bedroom residences and a stunning one-bedroom penthouse – boasting apartment-style spaces created to be the ultimate in hospitality with the very best of design and service. Before the end of the year, the hotel will open the doors to its exclusive building “The Hideaway”, a four-bedroom residence as well as the 4th residence of the hotel. In early 2021, the hotel’s magical Spa and Spa Suite will be opened, while the last annex of the hotel will be opened in the spring. This year, the hotel will also open ‘The Works’ – a luxurious mini gym for residents and 100 members.
With outstanding cuisine, seamless service, beautiful design, and an incredible terrace overlooking the Grand Harbour, the flagship of the hotel is ION – The Harbour restaurant, which aims to be Malta’s top dining spot. Focusing on fun fine dining, the restaurant offers an elegant and soulful ambience with a 4- and 7-course menu accompanied by a fantastic wine list in the evening, while the daytime will see the Iniala Breakfast Club with all-day breakfasts and brunches. The Iniala team, which include renowned Executive Chefs Andrew Borg from Malta and Seumas Smith from the Iniala hotel in Thailand, will start off with 40 employees, which will increase to 60 once the hotel is fully open.
