The sweet and spicy scents of vanilla and cinnamon are already filling the air and the recurrent warmth of the kitchen oven in many Maltese homes should be enough signs that Christmas is fast approaching. But what would Christmas be without the Patches Christmas Fair? This year this will be held on Sunday the 30th November at the Magazino Hall at the Valletta Waterfront from 12:30pm till 8:00pm.

Patches is an experiential fair, connecting contemporary, creative makers with people who appreciate high quality, handcrafted and locally designed fare. After a successful summer fair, the Patches team have yet again carefully selected 60 talented makers, old and new, to set-up their colourful and heart-warming stalls jam-packed with ceramics, jewellery, textiles, food and more great ideas that make ideal gifts for this special season.
Satiate your hunger with a medley of traditional and seasonal, healthy or diet-breaking, gluten-free and raw treats, which will surely take visitors across the four corners of the world.

Why buy handmade this Christmas? Buying handmade during Christmas allows you to truly find unique gifts for your loved ones. You can purchase gifts which can have more meaning and which have been made by passionate artisans, who dedicate plenty of their time to create and who wish to make a living out of making unique and handmade creations.

So if you are looking for one-of-a-kind gifts for extra-ordinary people this Christmas, and appreciate crafts Made in Malta, with a twist – this event should not be missed!
