We went to the Rainforest Cafe!
As soon as we received the press release at Indulge and seen all the hype on social media, I had to make a booking to bring Conor to the Rainforest cafe. I was lucky to get a booking slot as they’re going so fast!
We headed off last Friday and Conor was so excited.
As soon as you enter, the warm greeting is refreshing and the staff more than accommodating.
We were a little early so we had a look round the gorgeous toy and gift shop while our table was being prepared.
The shop is full with lovely souvenirs and toys, as well as the popular Tracy Tree who speaks to the kids!
On our way to the table the waitress gave us a tour of the rainforest and we got to see the Aquarium, Elephants, tigers, gorillas and much more.
The menu is great, with something for everyone and the kids choices are very good and great value. With the kids menu, Conor got the famous cha cha (The frog Mascot) cup which he could take home, a cha cha toy and a rainforest cafe passport which can be stamped every time you visit. The kids also get some colouring paper.
Every few minutes there’s a simulated thunder storm and the lights go down and the animals go wild! This was one of the best parts of the experience.
The food and service was great and I can’t fault anything, Conor didn’t want to leave!
If we can get a booking, we will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone especially if you have kids to bring along. The excitement and wonder on their faces is priceless.
