Welcome Kathrin – the new intern at indulge

Kathrin joins us for 4 months to learn about the publishing process over the Autumn and Christmas editions, helping launch a new business title and will be writing weekly reviews of vegetarian restaurants and other copy for indulge.com.mt

“I’m currently studying multilingual communication in Cologne, one of the biggest media cities in Germany.

I chose to spend a semester abroad in Malta because of its fascinating culture regarding history, nightlife/beach clubs, food, nature etc. I like to learn, see and be inspired by new things. Also, it’s an island surrounded by the sea which I love.

It was easy to decide to apply for an internship at “Indulge”, because it’s a magazine with a variety of topics and finding out how everything works will be very exciting. I’d like to improve my writing and language skills, too.

I indulge by sitting on the beach with a good friend or a book and watching the ocean while the sun is setting.”

Monique started indulge in 2011 and has since created Indulge Me GIFT and Indulge Me FOOD and volume 1 of The Artists Directory - Malta. A marketing professional by trade, Monique's passion is to promote local talent and Malta in general. Free time is her biggest indulgence, when she can tinker in her craft room or the kitchen, or be selfish with a book, the sofa and good glass of wine (of course, wearing something beautiful and with freshly coiffed hair!)
