Written in stone ….. eco friendly notebooks

Everyone loves stationery, and in these times with so much technology around us, a notebook of the paper variety is still found in the most organised and most creative people’s bag / kitchen / car. I speak for myself too. I love notebooks and there’s a kind of excitement when I’m starting a new one.

And just before anyone bangs on about paper and the environment, the notebooks I just picked up that are supposed to go in my eco-warrior family stockings, are not made by felling tress, are recyclable, are not bleached and are waterproof, so perfect for wandering artists and note takers.

These new notebooks from VeeGeeBee Art are made from stone. I kid you not. Watch the video and go have a scribble in one, try the woodless pencils, they are pure graphite smooth loveliness that don’t need sharpening as often – I tell you, you’ll be hooked. Scribble, sketch, take notes, plan your next project, list steps to achieve your dreams, use as a mindfulness journal…..

Its waterproof cover and pages will keep it from absorbing moisture for those rushed early-morning coffee runs. The smooth texture of the pages and flat-lay binding provide ample comfort and writing space for your notes and ideas. Store your loose notes in the back pocket. This is the perfect low-tech companion to your high-tech devices.
